TDM headers on TRX. Anyone have a definite answer?

Hey All,

Searched all the previous threads but there seems to be differing opinions whether TDM headers will fit the TRX due to a slight difference in engine mounting angle and therefore clearance under the engine.
Specifically I am looking at Delkevic TDM headers(same as OEM TDM fit) to make a 2 into 1 system.
Has anyone tried this type of fit up and made it work or found it a no go?

They definately don`t fit without modification, I believe Kayla tried them recently.

I've physically had a set next to my TRX and they won't work. It looks possible to bend them using heat as they only have to bend about 5 degrees or so at the bottom bend though. I just sent them back and ended up having my standard headers modified which cost £70 and is a better result as the collector ends in a 50mm bore, rather than a 38mm (or 44mm, can't remember) bore on the Delkevic headers.

Thats interesting Kayla. That's also an option as I have a spare set of headers to play with? Have you run that system as yet? If so how'd it go?

My laptop speakers are rubbish but I get the idea. Nice.
That way I could also match can inlet or link pipe size for my new can.
