hi people's , i'm looking at getting a new bike for the daily slog and spend some time giving the trx a makeover to be my weekend fun beast
has anyone thought of which of the new bikes would be a modern example of the old beasty , i can only think of 2 the kawasaki versys and the bmw f800st ... well in a twin anyway i have even thought about the fz1 and fz8 fazers
any thought's on what way you would go if you could find one ????
anyway thanks in advance

Comfy, cheap bike for a daily slog, with a similar riding position to the trx and also a twin, but obviously not as good as the TRX
is the Suzuki SV650.

The early Kawasaki ER6`s are also very good and fairly cheap now too.
SV650`s can easily be tuned/improved:
JHS Racing in the UK prepare the motors:

Alternatively these guys:

They go very well I`ve seen them raced.

Re: modern day equivilant
Why do you want something that is like the TRX? I want something completely different for my everyday hack (Triumph Sprint)
SV650 is more than capable as a commuter but I'd be looking at a CB500 etc if you want cheap commutting.
