2 Wheels,and Blue footed BOOBY"s

Post by Reddog » Tue Jan 25, 2011 10:17 am

G'day all,greetings.

Can I use my front TRX wheel and associated hardware (speedo cable)on my soon to be installed YZF usd forks?
Instead of the YZF front wheel.

A Blue footed BOOBY is a type of seabird.Often eaten by lost sailers such as Capt. Bligh of the HM Bounty. As they are friendly and are easily caught.
However they can swim under water, swiftly and accurately catching fish.
They remind me of the TRX,often underated, untill we pass them deep in the corner! :D

I seem to remember (correct me if I`m wrong members) that the YZF750 uses larger diameter wheel spindles.
So.................................
Yes, you could use the TRX Wheel but with bearings fitted to suit the YZF spindle diameter. You would also need to use a YZF speedo drive too as obviously the diameter through a TRX type would be too small.

Lovely Booby btw.

It`ll fit the wheel but does the YZF wheel spindle go through it?
