98 PSD R1 forks

When weather improves will fit my 98 USD R1 forks. Are standard springs OK, or are they soft as TRX is probably heavier than R1?

Standard springs will still be an improvement over standard TRX springs. I run Traxxion Dynamics springs in my 2000 model R1 forks. Very nice.
If everything seems under control
your just not going fast enough.
