Think of it this way...
Bean counters unfortunately run most companies. They specify whats "viable" and what isnt. the R1 / R6 / FZ6 / FZ1 fill the whole area that the TRX could have. Even tho they have a TDM900 motor and could EASILY !!! make a TRX900 with efi, 900cc and updated body / styling, they (bean counters) decide theres not ENOUGH market for it.
Yes, i equally agree if a new TRX was released like this, id probably add myself to the "pre-purchase" list by putting down a $5k deposit, providing it was under $14k AUD retail, but its just not going to happen.
I think this is why many people go to their TRX with an angle grinder.
