Freight-UK to Oz Help

Post by BigAl-TC » Tue Mar 29, 2011 1:34 pm

Hi,

I hope someone over in Blighty could give me a bit of help to find a resonably cheap form of transporting a TRX crankcase, gearset and clutch to Perth,Western Ozralya. It is currently in Bristol. I believe the box is approx 600x450x400x35kg
I missed the bro inlaws container last year. I've had quotes from 260 pound to 2700 pound  [-(
If I can't get it over cheap enough I will sell it there or throw it all in the rubbish. :(
All suggestions shall be considered before it is all binned. [-o<

Lots of love to all
Cheers,
Alan.

Hiya

Bristol's not far from me and I can store it here for you if there's time limits on where it's kept.

I'll have a look see what I can find for you ... need to know approx weight too

35kgs he sez 8)

I've used http://www.interlinkexpress.com before but looks like they only ship up to 31kg?? maybe split into two parcels.

Maybe www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk or www.parcel2go.com

Otherwise, PHUK72 is coming down to Ozland soon with the missus...

..sure he wouldnt mind leaving all his hawiian shirts and bermuda shorts behind and filling his case with trx bits instead!! :D

If my plan goes ahead on time, I`ll be shipping my life ( that`s everything the missus wants and the TRX!) to Aus in a container around early May? Prob got room for a box ... for a paltry fee of course!
Will be going to Melbourne though...? Dunno about after then, unless your folks can collect?

.p.
Mostly Harmless....unless catering is shut.

Thanks all for your replys,
I will have to calculate the options available. Sounding good, but if it costs to much it will be better to sell and buy over here. #-o So much for a bargain
Cheers,
Alan.
