What's this?

Post by Rod.s » Fri Apr 15, 2011 12:14 pm

Ok i don't know every part of this bike...yet... so when i removed the radiator cap this fell on the floor, must have been held on by phantom glue. So if it's now on the floor then where did it come from

It goes under the radiator cap and has a bolt that goes through the cap into the thread. It makes it harder to remove the radiator cap to tamper with the fluids...
Understeer - when you hit the fence with the front of the bike.
Oversteer - when you hit the fence with the rear of the bike.
Horsepower - how fast you hit the fence.
Torque - how far you take the fence with you.

It`s not a critical part of the bike, mine hasn`t even got one but I guessed what it was when you mentioned radiator cap. Never even seen one before!

Yep I've been using 222 locktite on everything i touch on this bike, found out yesterday that one of the bolts holding the rear brake assembly (foot peg etc) had gone missing, now the new one and original are 222 on :D

remember to put it on so it holds tension against the cap undoing because it can be put on backwards.
