what do i need to fit yz swingarm to my bike

Move the rear sprocket inwards approx 3mm...or make a custom sprocket...or turn over the standard one.quixote wrote:what do i need to fit yz swingarm to my bike

SEARCH is your friend, lots of posts and more than a couple of threads on here detailing the process, pro`s and cons etc. You`ll see the search facility at the top right of the forum page. The swingarm looks nice but the wider rear does affect the way the bike handles, some think it improves the handling but me?quixote wrote:what do i need to fit yz swingarm to my bike
I like the quick steering, flickability of the TRX, the wider rear will limit that a tad.

hi all, i am going the whole front and rear..just paid 672.00 for the lot...yep..the lot and even the tyres are legal..looking foreward to the project ..am thinking that the rear trx standard shock will fit in there and are the swing arm lengths the same..eg wheel centre to centre...

Did you end up scoring that lot on eBay Alex?? Was watchig them but couldn't justify it for me. $50sum'n for the swingarm was a steal though 
Understeer - when you hit the fence with the front of the bike.
Oversteer - when you hit the fence with the rear of the bike.
Horsepower - how fast you hit the fence.
Torque - how far you take the fence with you.

i was after a suspension package like the yzf 750 ..so i even advertised on e-bay in the yzf 750 catagory about a month ago...not much results..i really wanted the whole shebang without haveing to sell off the motor--fairings ect...i also wanted to keep my speedo drive as well...i just like analogue clocks...even the ones fitted to motorcycles...ahhem..[just seein if your payin attention].. 
..yeah..so this lot came up ..im not too sure if i will stay with the rear set up but am surelly going to play with the front ..paid the fellow yesterday and will probably see the gear after easter...its a lot of fun...i quizzed the seller about the kilometers on the parts...he said 4400kms..the motor was used 6 years ago in a side car outfit..my bike is the 96 black with the black frame..so the black yzf fronts will suit the scheme..its got six potter stoppers...hope the rear swinger clears my yoshies...have a good easter to all...
