Side Stand Extension

Has anyone else had problems with their side stand being too short after fitting longer dog bones?
I reckon another 20 or 30mm on the stand would be helpful, or I continue to carry around a block of wood...

It's the shorter dogbones that raise the ass, but yeah i brought the forks further up through the yokes to balance it out. That bought it back to nearly standard lean angle on the sidestand. Fitting the R1 front end got it standing up straighter more still.

I found this too before I dropped the front a corresponding amount to get it vaguely close to standard ride height, the advantage being it makes it sharper still and probably closer to YZF750 geometry

Ditto to that.
shorter dogs (courtesy of kayla) and a 15mm fork drop with 140mm air gap with 10w.

Hi Scotty!

You can mount a R1 side stand the same as I did - they're about 2 cm longer than the TRX and a straight fit.

But don't ask me what model year ...

Ah yes, sorry, the shorter dogbones. Dropped the forks another 10mm, made it all better.
