I'm having a sudden and quick need to share a couple of thoughts , so here it goes.

I'm not English or even British but I did move into England to be able to work and learn with bikes. I heard and read a lot about the motorcycle history and culture in this country, so here I am for almost 3 years now living the dream.
All of the 5 bikes I own at the moment were rescued from the gutter (just like the TRX) as a way to keep me on my toes, once Harleys are no challenge to anyone. During the rebuild process of those bikes I registered to several different forums to share and gather information and I have been in contact with thousands of users all over the world, THEREFORE I am now in postion to state that THIS FORUM gathers the kindest, most helpful motorcyclists/enthusiasts I've ever met.

I'm trying to understand how the original FZR400 fairing bolts to the headlight/clocks bracket.

Does anyone have pictures of this? The fairing I bought doenst come with any mounts or lugs and I'm trying to figure out if it would be easier/cheaper to buy a 3TJ fairing bracket or to fabricate one.

It bolts to the fairing stay the same as a TRX does - thru the lamp. But you're not using the lamp so will need to mod the fairing bracket or use a race item.

Ahaaaa, custom fairing mounts with S/S fasteners being used too I see.

Yes, I stole not only the bolts and nuts, but also the rusty square pipe to fab the bracket.

That square section steel looks like it started out in the frame of one of those cheap plastic chairs.
