Ok what's the general felling on the collect-ability of these bikes...
why i ask is I've been offered bike number 000048 from 1995. I have yet to see the bike and only have scant information at the moment, It's registered and roadworthy and at a very good price.
I would be looking at restoring the bike and keeping it like that as a keepsake

So what's the feeling? Something worthwhile or skip it

Does anyone have an earlier bike than this?

If it's not made in China, it's a fake!

Who came 47th in the bridge to bridge fun run out of those 10's of thousands running. I think unless it's on the podium it's just another TRX. But if it's good for the price. Another good one at Narang on E bay for around $3000 i noticed..Good to build up a spares supplies maybe as they get harder to find...
A TRX is a TRX is a TRX not like a z1000 kawasaki ..Find a Fuel injected model or a nice Z1R or MK11 maybe a 1000J eddie lawson replica or just the first original .. But i know there was only 50 fuel injected fuel injected jobbies that came into the country and most pulled it off and banged on smoothe bores like i did to my 750 or a 750 turbo would be nice too or how about a RZ500... But thats just my thoughts.

So did i, and i still have the throttle bodies...But it's not a bike i would see as a modern day collectable

how many do you see on the road. I've seen one in about the last 20 yrs and that was just last yr. Keep those throttle bodies they would be like gold
