Cheers guys, luckily i recently bought a set of manky looking carbs dirt cheap from trixynut as i needed a float bowl.
i noticed my needles on my own carbs were slightly worn so i swapped to the manky carbs and used any good parts from my old carbs in the new ones as on my own the mixture screws had also been rounded.
Furthermore i noticed on my own carbs the mixture screws were set differently left and right, where as the recently purchased ones wernt and had much better internals. after a bit of swapping and cleaning the new carbs are fitted and im just awaiting the rain to stop. hopefully no more leaky float bowls and smooth running.
