Urgent Help required

Post by SDN » Fri Jun 24, 2011 6:17 pm

Does anyone have an oil filler cap? mine vibrated out just off the M5 - No damage and oil level was OK had a massive rear tyre slide.

If you have one, can you stick it in the post for me, as obviously cannot ride without it! will pay

Thanks everyone,

was a worry as just a few minutes before I had been tanking down the M5 at 90+ and I decided to come off early due to traffic on the motorway! shortly after leaving motorway, back wheel was covered in oil and I had a massive slide.

If I had stayed on the motorway I could have totalled the bike / myself and or wrecked the engine

Maybe there is a god?

will be checking oil cap is tight in future before setting off

While on the subject of oil caps. Is the R6 or the R1 filler cap the same thread and size as the TRX?

So a thunderace oil cap screws right in and gives oil temp? Little gauge on top with a probe? might be handy for me as I only have a speedo!
