Air-hawk

Post by Rod.s » Sun Jul 10, 2011 6:48 am

Has anyone tried the air-hawk seat on the TRX, I see that the only one that will fit is the small pillion 11" X 9" one...Any comments

If it's not made in China, it's a fake!

Hi Rod,

I used to have one on my GSX14, then my FJR, but after I had the seat remade by Andrew Moorehouse in Capalaba, I sold it to a cruiser rider  They are good, but your orse still hurts, just takes a little longer. Get John Moorehouse to remake your seat =D> I just use a sheepskin on the TRX. HTFU
Cheers,
Alan.

HI Rod, I have one that I got off a Honda Gold Wing, actually to be strictly honest, I got it off the Gold Wings owner.
It is too big for the TRX seat but it is still a great piece of gear. I found with the Air Hawk I could travel the full distance between fuel stops no problems. The sheep skins I have are fine for shorter runs, but the Airhawk is the go for anything longer. Eventually you will get a achey arse but it does take a lot longer.

I'm not sure which way I'll go with this....John Moorehouse has done seats for me before, but he's snowed under at the moment so can't guarantee he can get it done by Oct  the Airhawk's smallest cushion is 11" X 9" which will do just nicely and at just under 100 skins may be the way to go :?
