All set to go out for aride yesterday when i noticed the LHS engine mounting was hanging out. On closer inspection, turned out the bolt had sheared off in the head. Anyway, drilled it out a right b*stard with high tensile bolt. Turned out that the thread was 10 X 1mm and knackered. so dilled out engine mount and replaced with 10mm thread and nut.
Anyone else had an engine mount break? any ideas why? - maybe it came loose?

Yep, engine must have been able to move in it`s mounts, check ALL the engine mountings points for bolt tightness.
