Macquarie Pass, Albion Park. I know a bloke who might let you borrow a TRX for a small fee
who lives very close to it. Awesome winding smooth road. Top of the hill is The Famous Robertson Pie Shop.
My hot travel tip would be get out of the city, head south down the coast road as mentioned. The Blow Hole at Kiama would be a good finishing point. Just re read that it's not ment to bed rude haha!

Phuk , depending on where you are staying and the age of your tribe
1 a ferry from Circular Quay to Tronga Park Zoo .Good for seeing all the cuddlely aussie critters and you will see the major sites , harbour bridge , opera house and the general harbor layout.
2 beg borrow hire or steal a car and do a day trip south through The Royal National Park stopping off at Garie beach. ( in a former younger life I was a life saver there ) for a swim and the aussie sandy beach , sea gulls topless bathers and sometimes females as well. After the beach continue on through the park and that brings you out to Stanwell Tops. Great coastal view of the south coast and if you do the day on a weekend this is a hand gliding take off area.
Follow the coastal road to Bulli. Turn right go up the pass onto the freeway for a easy trip home

Plus 2+ hours west of Sydney is Bathurst and more importantly, Mt Panorama........pity you can only do 60kmh round the thing.
Very heavily policed (like everything in this country.........you know the only time anything police-wise was ok in NSW was when the Commissioner was an import - Peter Ryan from the UK _ and that was over 10 yrs ago). Everyone has to go there once!

Oh yes.
Will be in Sydney from 13th to 15th October and then from 20th to 27th October.
Fingers crossed, the All Blacks will choke (again) and it will be an England Australia rugby final

Not likely, the home ground advantage will be huge. Scotland and Argentina will sort your lot out

7 days from 7th to 13th October.
My time is pretty tight as I have family duties (including a wedding weekend) but I'm sure I can sneak out for a pint
