Bit of a bidding battle on e.bay a couple of weeks ago but managed to secure me a mint pair of Scorpion race cans!
Found the hanger clamps pulled the pipes up too high so made a couple of 35mm lowering links to take the strain off.
They sound awesome!

ANY straight through absorption type baffled race can will sound better than those damn restrictive and ferkin heavy stock cans. They really do help the motor breath too, it`ll feel much friskier in the mid range.
Did you get them for a good price?

What's a good price?
Paid a bit more than I really wanted to, but got caught up in the bidding dual and the final bid was sent with just seconds left!
They are unmarked though and, apparently, only done 300 miles'ish with the previous owner. Even came in the original packaging!
Looking forward to getting out for a decent run in some autumn sun, maybe a trip to the Ponderosa Cafe over the border in Wales is called for ............

I take it they are the old style, not like Scorpions latest can styles?:

I wouldn`t have paid a penny more than 150 quid for a pair of the old style cans, even if still new and unused.
I can get race cans for about 80 quid each brand new through `contacts`, can get specials made up cheaply to customers specifications too, a good friend actually makes carbon sleeves and end caps directly for Scorpion.
You can buy the materials and make your own race cans, a hacksaw, electric dril, pop rivets (a pop rivet gun) and a file being all that`s required:

Yes, they are the old style cans, I still wanted to keep the bike looking as "period" as possible.
Paid just a couple of quid over the £150 so I'm happy enough.
Next job is to get the wheels cleaned up and painted gold and find a belly pan fairing too.
Any ideas on the best route for blasting / painting the wheels or a decent belly pan supplier would be useful.

Cheers fella, I'll check them out, Lichfield's not far from me!
How come nobody seems to be using the TRX Facebook site, any reason?

Max set up the Facebook, but it's never really been active as starting discussions there might duplicate discussions here and obviously not so many people are on FB. It's handy for passing on information though.
