Post by alextrx850 » Mon Sep 12, 2011 10:48 am

I am looking to purchase a digital speedo and replace the analogue one..will be after a type that displays the speed reading the most ..RPM and coolant temp will be retained as will the idiot lights below..so basicly a compact device that replaces the bigger round one ,and are these back lit for night time?..i see a lot on e-bay..any good brands around 150AUD ?

Koso make some nice units but a little bit pricey. Maybe wreckers might have some damaged clocks that you can rework.

Quite a few of us have fitted new clocks due to losing speedo drive when we changed the trx front end . I have the Koso Xr/Sr fitted to my trx, It was very easy to fit and seems to work all ok after 2 years .i think a few people have fitted the vapour dash and had no problems.

Koso instruments feckin RULE!! Love my RX-2 unit on the rex - just about to fit more Koso kit to my TDR250 project. Certainly wouldn't call them expensive considering the build quality & broad range of functions.

+1 on that.
Have the Koso RX2-N and it works just great (along with the Garmin gps) - only thing missing is the fuel gauge.
Has anyone fitted a fuel gauge on the original tank?
