About To Take The Plunge In Oz

Post by kenmore » Tue Oct 11, 2011 11:40 am

I have owned a TRX, and regretably sold it to a guy in my village who proceeded to trash it.

I have had an FZR1000 Foxeye(Still had plenty of go even though it was 15Yrs old) and currently a Shiver. I have also ridden plenty of other bikes since I had my Trixie and still think that the TRX is a great bike!!!

I often admired what some guys on here did with their Trixies and have decided to get another one and do all the things to it that I should have done to my original one.

I don't care what condition it's in as I plan to modify it extensivley.

A big bore kit, carbies, forks, swing arm, running gear, and body work are all on the cards.

I will sell my Shiver to finance the project. Part of the reason that I want to do this is that you can't access the E.C.U in the Shiver, and no matter what you do to it the results are handicapped by the electrics.

At least with the TRX every time you do an upgrade you get a result.

All suggestions, and advice will be heeded.

Can you still get a big bore kit for the TRX?
