Something I`m not getting here? Indicate, to have a right or left indicator (flasing amber light) showing.

Ok.....when was the last time you saw a car actually indicated that it was changing lanes, turning left/right.

Soooooo this is a very rare event "If you`ve ever followed a vehicle which has it`s lights on and then indicates

Must be an Assuie car driver thing, in the UK and to be fair, car drivers DO indicate most of the time whether it be at night or during the day.
What many cannot do however is judge the speed a motorcycle is approaching them at, the ferkers often turn acrosss the road in front of you!

Became educated on the practical propertys of a squirt of oil whem i was working on a heavy plant operators refuelling ute, the rear was absoloutly trashed with tools and chains with diesel and engine oil everywhere.
Not a skeric of paint was left in the roll about mess..but no surface rust at all...
Im always giving door lock mechanisms a friendly once over with a lanolin based oil when i fit doors together as well..this is why a dose of upper valve in the trx fuel and regular servicing has seen me clear of any major issues so far.[touch wood].

However what Mince was referring to with the indicators is that when an electrical earth fault occurs in say a tail light, the power will run through another circuit to find ground like say an indicator bulb which will light up.
Hence the wierd and confusing light message ...a corroded earth wire.

After spending over 4 hrs at Westmead, when it should have taken 2, I went to start my bike.
Ignition light came on, went click and then EVERYTHING went off....nada......nothing!
No lights, indicators, brake light, horn etc.............
Checked the fuses and their connectors, all ok. Even checked the starter relay and its fuse.
Rang Lloyd Penn and they thought it might be a fritzed battery (short circuit). Battery was an $80 cheapie 4 years ago so that's on the cards..........
I'm thinking either battery or ignition switch, only because something similar happened years ago on the Guzzi..........

No probs, was working at Lidcombe today and was able to get up to Battery World at Ryde and get a Yuasa MF YTX12-BS.
Just put it on to see if there was anything, and Hey Presto.....I've got all my electrics back!
Battery is on a charge until 9.30 tonight...... then back in the bike and hopefully she'll start, so I can ride to work tomorrow instead of getting public transport.
