Chain lube that stays on chain and not all over bike?

Can anyone recommend a good one? Sorry if seems a daft question I'm just new to road bikes

Wurth dry lube is great as is Castrol synthetic race chain lube:

There are loads on the market some are pretty bad for fling but I tend to lube my chains after a run then leave them, overnight at least. When you come to use the bike again, you`ll get much less fling.

The best I've found, after years of searching, is Motul C4.
Clean the chain first with a toothbrush and your favourite cleaner (mine is WD40, which is chain 'O' ring safe - you'll be squirting a far more volitile solvent over them in a minute ), wipe dry and then spray on the Motul. It goes very tacky, very quickly, wipe off excess with a rag immediately.
Whenever, I've subsequently split chains, the pins and bushes have been well lubed

Yep I use good old WD in bulk! Great stuff for all over the bike, apart from near braking components (obviously).
Loads of lubes on EvilBay, might bid on that Wurth dry lube at the top myself. :

I've used Wurth Dry lube in the past, in fact there's a half used can on the shelf now. I found it pretty good too.
Treat yourself for Xmas and try the Motul Factory Line C4, it really is very good and doesn't get particularly attracted to crud off the road

Motul Road is what I'm using lately, I've tried a few, Belray, Castrol, etc, but this seems to be the best, goes on clear, doesn't fling.

A light coat on a warm chain is the best way to not get lube everywhere.

Tried a few, Motul, Maxima chain wax, but the best I've found so far is Silkolene Chain Gel - &^%$ing expensive though - $26 a can, but it does seem to be lasting a fair while

Of course folk like O ring chains for the road but a non O ring chain saps much less from the transmission and if a non O ring chain is kept properly cleaned and lubed lasts just as long (I`ve proven it over the years). Of course folk always seek labour savings these days so O ring or X ring chains suit them.
Another `negative` to overcome is folks belief that split links cannot ever be as safe as a rivet pin which is simply BS! Again proven over and over again by bikes being drag or road raced.
So, what we have is a whole industry that`s sprung up to fettle folks fears and sell very expensive O ring chains that can be routinely ignored for mile after mile without cleaning and lubing.
My Skorpion runs 520 MX chains, non O ring with a split link, I run the TRX on a split link too and when my current O ring chain is shot it`ll be replaced with a lighter weight, non O ring type as well.
I see more that two BHP from running the Skorp on non O ring chains and when you havn`t got lots of ponies to start with it makes all the difference too.
But of course, you DO have to clean and lube them more frequently.

I tried the Castrol chainwax stuff, but its not corrosion proof enough for British winters.

Sorry for hindering you in your self-fulfilment because of the lack of own experience in that very special field (abuse of chain lube) - but feel free to experiment and share your experiences (but please not here!).
