Another café conversion
Here are a few pics of my TRX to Cafe conversion. Its a work in progress when Im not at work, so getting there.....

Here's a few more pics from the latest work over this weekend. I shortened the front fender by a few inches and wrappd it in a textile, sprayed it with 1 and half cans of matt black to see what the effect would be, different, yes or no?

Here she is, finally got the chance to get some photos on.
Still not finished... next suspension upgrades and blue spot callipers. (I wonder how many TRX/Café racers are in QLD?)

What speedo did you use, and what bracket did you use to mount it?
I'm just starting to dismantle my TRX and would love to naked-ise the front at the very least to start it all off (will be getting the frame straighted and valve clearances done etc) .... sticking point is finding a decent speedo (like Acewell etc) and especially a bracket to hold it ....
The bike you've naked-ise looks good ....

It`s either an Acewell unit or the cheaper Chinese copies that can be found on Ebay, they both come with mounting brackets by the way.

Not my cup of tea but I can appreciate the work that went into it. And I like the way you have mounted the rear indicators on the frame rails - very clever

The speedometer came with its own mounting bracket and I mounted it directly to the top yoke.
You can order the yoke as part of the kit from Ian, where the preparation has been made to accomodate the speedo (see Stankflappers Cafe).
The reason I didnt change my yoke is so I could keep my steering lock.
