FCR Rattle

Hey All,
I've fitted a pair of 'Box Fresh' FCR's today and have a rattle coming from the slides at low/vibey revs.
Once lifted a touch they stop. Just on tickover they really clatter and chatter along.
Normal? I've heard so from someone else I asked but wondered if anyone on here had had the same.
If so, any remedy?
Apart from that they are working a treat and the bike is now so on point.

It´s the FCR slides wich rattles agains eash other....normal...and quite sexy!

They are engineered with rollers on those slides, there must be clearance or when the bike is revved the slides would try to jam against the carbs milled slots, the engine creates a great deal of suction / downdraught at speed. as Kw says, quite normal and VERY sexy.
What`s even more sexy is to watch the fuel / air mist hovvering obove the bellmouths when on the dyno, then when the throttles are opened wide seeing the mist disappear down into the inlets and moisture form on the inside edges of the bellmouths as the air becomes cooled by the speed it is being sucked into the engine.
Almost magical to watch.

Was wondering if I had a sloppy set.
Your right, the chattering from them has character. I'm going to take it for a good blast today to see if everything is hunky dory.
From the short run I had last night everything seamed really well set up straight out of the box....

Now, the only problem I have is with the TPS.
When I fitted it to the FCR's and tried to position it using the tacho', it was very twitchy. It would bound from 8k to 1k. Very tricky to set at 4k and when I tightened it up and then re tested it after a few twists of the throttle it was off again.
The TPS shaft on my FCR's is very wobbly in comparison to the stock carbs. The stock carbs have a clip around the shaft, wondering if that has to be removed and fitted with the TPS, I have fitted the rubber seal from the stock carbs.

Anyway, I set it as best I could and took it for a ride, all good but on the return the tacho' wen't in to the TPS failed mode.... Any ideas?

Wondering if the messing and moving around had upset something in the TPS or harness. I'm going to give it a going to put a tester across it now, but any tips would be appreciated.

Did your TPS work before with standard carbs?

All I did when I dropped FCRs on was plug in the connector - no need to adjust or play around at all.
