Re: Mystery Part
What I know about the mystery part is:
I have worked on 3 bikes of late on my hoist, My dirter WR450 yammy, My 1198 Duke and my TRX lastly. I did not hear it drop onto the bench from any of my bikes and I was cleaning off the bench after I put the tank back on my TRX....
You just have too many bikes mate i think they should be redistributed amongst the masses!!! Crate the Duke up & ship to the UK immediately

My wife must have the only liquid cooled Visa card in the world. Its fitted with two small rads on either end to keep it at normal opperating temps during the Christmas shopping period.

Re: Mystery Part
******NEWS FLASH******
Phone call to old man received some 10hours after initial contact. It would appear that my son has replaced his drivers side inertia reel seat belt in his ute as it was not working correctly. Once he installed the new belt assy, using my tools, he pulled the old one apart to see what fuked up. The said mystery part left on my bike hoist is the locking pawl from the faulty unit.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the minions who graciously racked their brain like i did looking for this to come off a motorcycle. I am now off to buy some testicle clamps

Ahaaa, there you go! I was right (in a roundabout way) guessing it looked like something that locked a component. Remember to electrocute those testicle clamps.
