First ride on trx tommorow 15 stone rider =what tyre psi

Please could someone let me know the tyre pressures for my weight. Road riding NOT track

Mate, I wouldnt adjust the pressures for your weight (you're not exactly unusual at 15 stone) OR for the fact that your are riding on a track.

Just stick with whatever the manufacturers recommended pressures are for the tyre you have.

They're usually about 32 front and 34 or 36 back, in psi.

Make changes like tyre pressures to suit conditions and or riding style if you want, but best left til you`ve `learnt` the ropes a bit. You`ll likely not gain too much while your a novice by doing it anyway.

Been out on bike today and got wet through it was dry when I went out but then the heavens opened up on me. Anyhow riding the trx is a hell of a lot different to the Honda CBF 500 I have been learning to ride on. First of all i have realised you have to rev it quite a lot while setting of from stand still and at the point where the clutch is fully released you seem to be moving at quite some pace. Also when accelerating from very low rpms the engine seems somewhat juddery then smooths out as the revs increase. I didn't get chance to have a proper ride out because of the bad weather but I'm looking forward to my next ride out but only when it's dry. The bike is just for pleasure not for commuting. Are my experiences similar to yours??

things to consider.
std gearing on the trx is quite tall 17 front 39 rear so check your sprocket sizes
putting a 16 on the front helps a lot.
check your chain condition and tension whilst sitting on the bike and give it a good lube.where are the adjusters? wound out a long way or in against the stops.
are the cush drive rubbers in good nick?
all said, TRX all vibe a lot . . .feel the character !
what tyres are on the bike?
most forum-ees tend to run 33f/36r as per yamaha or even 30/32, but i'm happy on 36f/40r with michelins and i weigh 70kgs kitted up.

The rex is very tall geared as standard...I've gone 1 tooth smaller on the front and still only briefly hit 3rd gear going to work

I'd second all that:

Check gearing is not more than standard.

Check chain slack.

Check throttle cable slack to: this can make things a bit juddery if there is any slack.

The adjusters are about a quarter way out from the stops and equal. What are crush drive rubbers?

the cush drive rubbers are those paired wedges of rubber that sit inside the rear hub on the drive side, and they mate into the rear sprocket carrier.
if they are worn, you will have slop in the takeup when you throttle on/off.
+1 on throttle cable slack . . .too little is too touchy and too much is mushy.
whats the front sprockets condition like?
look for hooking like wear.
this will catch and release the chain and might make the bike 'hunt' on part throttle.
