Fork Rebuild

Post by cal » Sat Dec 10, 2011 11:31 pm

Anyone know of good fork rebuilders in the yorkshire area? :|

Ive bought a copmlete yzf 750 to rob the front and rear ends off, so funds allowing i will do the blue spot convertion to the yzf forks and then send them off for a proper rebuild an check for trueness.

Brooks in Bradford are the guys who post on ebay (has anyone ever used them?) and they are looking likely, but I would be very keen to find out if anyone else knows of a decent and reasonably priced fork rebuilder who can revalve and spring,

Rear end will get similar treatment, with some powdercoating and a bit of engine tlc

so any ideas on fork rebuilders?

I have used brooks a few years ago to rebuild a rsv rear shock , They were very helpful and quick . Might be worth ringing mct as there was a feature in pbike a while ago where mct rebuild some yzf750 forks.
