Another handy hint is to be sure your side stand is DOWN when lowering the machine from the race stand as well...came close once.!SDN wrote:Success, dropped the wheel out and was able to get hex 3/8 socket on offending rounded off seized bolt. Slowly took it out add ing plenty of pentrating oil and it came out. Retapped the thread and fitted new adjuster with plenty of copper slip. Then just as was finishing dropped the bike on it's side - crash bungs helped, but broke mini indicator and new clutch lever - Bollox

At least I'm not missing much, howling gales and driving rain do not good riding weather make, am quite looking forward to trying out the new Michelins.
Fitted to the wheel with usual new valves, ballancing and all the rest it set me back £250 the pair - Ouch!
