Fitting gold spot calipers tomorrow final check list. Am I??

Am I missing anything. I've got a bike mechanic to fit the lot for me. Parts i have are as follows

1. X2 gold spot calipers
2. Venhill brake line kit with banjos washers etc
3. Master cylinder
4. He will be supplying brake fluid.

Is it just a case of taking the old calipers off and putting the new ones in place of the old using the same bolts to attach to the forks. Is there anything I may have missed off here because I have told the guy who's going to be doing it that it's a bolt off bolt on job and a bleed lines?

I am a bit neurotic, so i would go new shoes as well

Assuming the brake lines are correct (i.e. where they attach to the calipers, the banjos on the gold spots are 90degrees different to the orginals), then yes - it's as simple as off with the old and on with the new.

Personally I'd always fit new pads as well as the old ones may have worn to the profile of the other discs and this could cause all sorts of problems

other than that - bolt off bolt on

Why? It'll take just as long if you do it yourself, & you don't have to go somewhere else to do it... Or pay any money for that matter!

All parts fitted successfully today and they work spot on. It's great to have front brake that actually works. Thanks to mark @ jumbo motorcycles in Wakefield for fitting em. Thanks to you guys for pointing me in the right direction as to what parts I need etc
