Gold spot calipers 14mm master= which brake lines??

Hi. I've have recently purchased goldspot calipers from an R6 and a 14mm master. I just need to get some brake lines now but not sure which ones i need. I understand using the trx standard ones you have to turn the connections upside down or so i have read on here. Would I be needing r6 front brake lines? If yes which year ones would I be looking at to get the right length etc to fit on the trx. On eBay there seems to be almost a different brake line for every year the r6 was produced.

Any help would be appreciated

hi ritch.
i fitted '04 R6 blues with an '04 R6 master, turned the ends on the TRX lines but dont like the twisted mess i ended up with.
i have '04 R6 lines coming from ricerocket in the uk to fit.
as my forks are thru the clamps a fair way, the 04 lines should be the right length and the right orientation.

my goodridge lines arrived today from JD Motorsports.
two line kit with carbon look covers and stainless ends
ref # TYA0698-2FC-CB
fitting them up next week.

If you get HEL lines you can rotate the banjo fitting to where it's needed.

I discovered this when HEL sent me a brake line that wasn't aligned correctly for my KLR650. When I phoned them to complain they told me how to rotate the banjo.
It was easy to do and I did the same thing to the HEL lines on my TRX when I changed from standard calipers to gold-spots.

Wrap some protective tape/cloth around the banjo fitting just behind the 'bump' on the hose side of the fitting. Grip the section just behind the bump firmly with some multigrips etc. Then use something like a large phillips head screwdriver through the banjo hole to rotate the end of the banjo to where you want it.
You have to be a bit careful not to mash up the heat-shrink with the multigrips, but reheating it when you've finished will shrink it back into shape.

Which lines did you order? Trx specific, r1/r6 maybe or did you have them build you some up?

Used trx specific, off ebay 66 quid stainless fittings & banjo bolts all in (front & rear) top job

I wouldn't be happy jamming the speedo cable in there mate. It's supposed to hang free then through the loop inside the low side of your fairing.
