FCR Velocity Stacks

I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of FRC41s from PJ Motorsports (US). I was assuming I'd just order blue velo stacks to suit (from a choice of red or blue) but am faced with this:

On a side note, they offer a full jet kit for $80 or so...buy or trust the stock setup? This is for spirited road use, no track days. Thanks in advance

stock set up comes with 150 mains.... it ran fine with the airbox ... just restricted at the top end I found..(couldn't breathe enough air) but the blue bellmouths fixed that... But once I changed to the bellmouths a couple of weeks later I placed a large bore exhaust and dynoed it .. mains stayed the same .. needles where lifted and there are I think what are called pilot air jets that live just under where the bellmouths bolt on.. these also where altered to suit...
At 100;000km it was due for a camchain and major service anyhow but a dyno is money well spent in my opinion when setting up ...

OK, will probably get the jet kit to save fartng around later on. Maybe get a pro-install with dyno with the $ I save buying from the US

if he's nice enough he may give you a reading before and after fitting.. as mentioned also setting valves and a new chain all can add that couple of extra of horses ... I went from 76hp std with staintunes to 87 with fcr and larger headers

Big thumbs up to PJ Motorsport in the US...great communication, great price, fast shipping and very honest (they charged me for the velocity stacks and then refunded the $ when they came supplied with the kit). Recommended
I feel I should man up and do the swap myself...but I also know in the past I've stranded myself by forgetting to attach hoses...so will be realistic and get a pro to do the work in about a week.

cost me $16 for 2 sheets of air filter foam from the local bike shop
I made up 2 twin soxs much the same as the ramair ones .. you can get one out of each sheet and just glued it all together with some contact. so you always got a spare

I'm considering going through this process myself. I haven't quite decided whether to use the standard air box (with K&N filter) or the velocity stacks.
If you don't mind I have (quite ) a few questions:

Is the kit # you ordered '016-735'?
Is it the TPS version?
What was actually included with the kit?
Did you end up buying the jet kit as well, how much did it actually cost?
Were there any other extra's that you needed to order?

And most importantly, how much did it all cost and how much was the postage?

Yes, that's the TPS version. I got (bear in mind I'm a numpty at this stuff) carbs with the tps mount, blue velo stacks, adapters, a push/pull throttle cable set (for a YZF750 but I guess they did their homework for length)...and some screws and stuff. I got 2 quotes from showandgo (local)...one around A$1350 and one A$1200 (phone vs email with $20 postage and 2 weeks to delivery). Allens Performance (UK) belatedly gave me a quote of 800 pounds w/o delivery to NSW Western Australia
These from PJM were a shade over A$1000 shipped initially ($79 shipping in a double box with shipping beads) via USPS...with a US$79 refund for the stacks...just over a week for delivery...and underdeclared for duty (which ended up being zero...things under $1K coming in by post aren't subject to customs duty)
I didn't get the jet kit but they will honour their price of $79 if needed. Nice people to work with.

yer good price all right.. especially with the Aust $ at $1.06 U.S. at present...Get in while the going's good.. I'd give the airbox the flick... I found it too restrictive .. You'll notice the difference straight away if you try it with and without
