Evening all, I have a question for all of those with FCR's.
I want/need to separate my FCR's so that they can go off for ultrasonic cleaning, I have never split the FCR's before so I dont wanna make any cock ups.
I have removed all of the bolts that I can see that need to come out in order to split them but im left with the main sprung throttle mechanism...does this need to come off and more importantly how??? The end that goes into the TPS block does not seem to come out so I assume it is the spring end that does but im a bit hesitant in pulling it about.
Any ideas please as the missus wants the dining room table back!!
Cheers.

From memory, there are grub screws holding the slides mechanism together under the carb tops which need to be undone, then you can draw the throttle/slide bar out the side of the carbs. I think.
