Well...finally got around to trying the bike with the new DJ needles fitted. And I am pleased to say the problem is just about sorted, there is no holding back now and the horrible massive stumble when the throttle is rolled off and rolled on again at 4-5000 revs is more or less gone. I do get the impression from the seat of my pants that it could maybe do with richening up a bit, as its a bit flatter than it was. I will know better when I whip the plugs out, not looking forward to that. Talking of plugs, I got a couple of iridium plugs today, do they need gapping. Thanks David.

NO, don`t even try, they are ok straight out of the box. If that central iridium electrode is damaged they`re fooked!
By the way, you can remove the radiator fastening bolts and swing it as far forward as you can to get more `room` to work at the plugs.
