getting out of vac bag tomorrow

Post by handsomejackuk » Fri Mar 23, 2012 10:22 pm

As topic says, going to get the TRX out of the vac bag tomorrow, in readiness for new tax 1st april have a trip planned to poole this year for the bike night, and a trip to bristol, and one to north wales, so need to get it sorted....cleaned fueled up, and oil change, and air filter cleaned.... planning on about 800-1000 miles didnt do 800 last year !!!! may have one or two local trips to Abergavenny as well to put a few miles on the old Smoker. !!!!!

thinking of taking off the rear fairing and giving it a good going over to make sure all is o.k under there...could really do with a new chain, just hoping a thorugh degreasing and relubing will be ok.. still on original Chain....

ahh well another year goes. on...

Oh wow, that's cool!

I like to ride mine though :P

Just kidding, sounds like a good way to go, especially if you have multiple bikes.

vac bag unsealed, battery put on filled with fuel, and started all ok... just a couple of slight marks on the front wheel that needs attention.

going to take the wheel off and get it powder coated... but overall not looking too bad clock reading 11,644 miles....

took out the bafffles of my scorpion cans gonna blow some cobwebs out in a minute....
