Problem Fixed.
Turns out to be the front indicators!!!. Bike has now passed 180,500km and the vibrations over this period of time had caused the indicators to get looser and looser. I fixed by masking-taping the indicators in position then run a bit of silicone around the back (on the inside of the fairing). So the slack is now taken up - no more rattling. The bike shakes a lot at 2500-3000rpm but it's always done that, just didn't always have loud rattles until recently...
Thanks everyone for the input.

Hahahaha, well there you go!
Take em off, go with lightweight and better LED types, you know it makes sense.
