Ask your local Yamaha dealers, they `might` do an exchange for you. :wink:

Yeah, they did, half the price though. :)
If I get my hands on a small torque key tomorrow, I´ll start the process putting the stuff back in place. 8-[

Bike´s up and running again. :D
Had to do 2 rounds with new shims for 4 of the intake valves to get accurate gaps.
They were probably pressing a lot on the valves before I started.

First startup of the bike was immediate, however I had new spark plugs again so
we will have to see in a couple of days how it behaves with the coldstarts.

One problem thats been solved, is the idle. Before I had to stand beside it and give
it throttle until it was warm. Now, it does it itself.

Had a lot of help from the Swedish forum to sort things out during the "operation".
Made some mistakes, :oops: it was my first time going into an engine.

Nice one mate, well done for getting into it yourself, Knowing what goes on and how to fix it is well worth the time and effort spent.
