I have had a search and it seems that a 110 link chain is the way to go with a 42t sprocket.....Can anybody confirm this ?
I fitted the sprocket and under the advice of the chain supplier I purchased a 114 link chain....ha ha ha, way too long. I don't have the tools to shorten it so I deffo need the correct length.....It will be fitted with a split link. Am well p*ssed off as I can't use the bike this weekend. Cheers in advance.

Yup, 110 links is correct. You need a grinder to take the top off the pins to shorten it or a chain breaker. Can be done with a file and a vice as well.

I run 17t/42t and 110 link chain so it fits perfectly.
