And yes,very likey the little solid state relay is a speed limiter gubbins and now that the UK cdi is fitted it`s superficial.Why not just tape it back up,it`s obviously not doing any harm or you would know about it by now?
Yes i thought of that just after I did this
to the loom and it plugs in here
so I wont connect it back unless it causes a problem

keep hold of the yellow & black wire , i am sure i used it for the rev counter sense ,,
