Mate - you want to take a leaf out of Earls book and start making a list

Seriously - I hope it's not too much of a set back and sorry to hear lifes put the boot in again.

Thanks Nick,

Hopefully our bad luck has ended for a while. They say things happen in 3's well........how about 4's

1. Cards and cash stolen........result = accounts wiped out

2. Kids need urgent financial help (daughter for private hospital, son for private rehab........public system sucks)........result = sell TRX

3. Best mate of 40 years pass' away.......result= buy Guzzi and plan for round Oz trip that we both had planned for 20 years

4. House burgled........result= house trashed, about $10k of stuff stolen, wife distraught (still suffering from anxiety).

The positives

1. 50% of money replaced

2. Kids are on the improve

3. At least I've still got 2 wheels

4. Most of the things stolen will be replaced by insurance.

She reckons that there is nowhere to ride in Gladstone.Surely they have roads there.

The roads around here are feckin boring, but I would much rather ride a boring road on something I love to ride than in a cage. Or on some other kind of sh*t bike bike for that matter.

hey all! (Hey new website, nice!)

Yeah am still here. Has been a mad few months. Yes, rumours are true, I have moved to Gladstone to live with my partner (not the guy who ran up my arse n into my bike), got a good job up here continuing with my trade. Been really getting into my moto-trials riding, competing every couple of weeks. No, havent had a crash ;-) Come on now I only had two scratching moments, one was when my ex ran up my arse and nearly wrote my trx off, and the other was when that 250 took out my bike... hehe... Nah but this move to gladstone was unfortunate in a way that I had finally just got Sharky's suspension set up properly, but now I got no roads to ride on! just highways and dirt roads... I get my thrills from the 4 roundabouts in town...... yipee.... So I realllllly do not want to sell my beloved trx but the air up here is full of salt, coal and whatever other stuff sticks to metal and is just chewing away at the bike.. moh...

Say I'm going to be back in Brissy for the next 7weeks with TAFE so if anyone wants to catch up I'd be more than happy to make some time. Geez gonna miss the riding :-(

Glad to here that things are on the up and up for you Shane. Sorry about letting Sharky go though, I know the feeling. I've made a mental reminder though "Don't move to Gladstone", sounds unfriendly to road bikes.

Yeah drivers in Rocky are by far the worst that i have seen! crazy ! Yeah but at least you have Mount Archer up there. (For you brisbane ppl, it is like a twister version of Mount Cootha... so not much but enough to play on for 15mins or so)
