After a short testdrive yesterday, I went to work today with the TRX. It has become very clear to me now that flatslides are meant to be used without an airbox. That noise! Amazing. The bike feels strong too, but the dynorun will show the facts. [-o<

The filter has a perfect snug fit. =D> The "neck diameters" are smaller than the bellmouths (see extra filter on the right), but because of that, I don't have to use clamps or anything like that. There was no need to cut out the holes at all, it just slips over the bellmouths nicely.

The only thing is they don't supply the filteroil with it. #-o The filter has to be oiled in, right? I suppose there is no harm in using K&N oil.
Edit: Okay, it doesn't need to be oiled, the foam is already treated.

Yep,already treated at source.
I run two single socks on my FCR`s (Ramair) and the only time I might consider additional treatment would be if there was the likelyhood of a lot of dust etc around.Like if I was attending some summer rallies or dirt bike, grass track events.
Proprietory silicon sprays can be used, just don`t wet the foam too much, try for a light misting.
