Getting certification for replacement parts in Swizerland

Hi fellas,

I bought a 2nd hand TRX in Zurich. Unbeknownst to me at the time, non-OEM parts need to come with a certificate of compatibility otherwise the ride is not legal.

The previous owner had changed the master brake cylinder for a Brembo and the rear brake pedal with an Over part, as well as left and right foot pegs. On my first road inspection, the Over part was noticed and I was told to get a certificate or replace with OEM. I contacted the dealer, Over customer support, other online dealers, and the big Yamaha center here in Zurich and nobody has been able to provide the cert. So replacement seems to to be the only option, sadly the left front foot assembly (4NX274100100) is no longer available from Yamaha, and again various retailers have been unable to help. I haven't been able to track down a useful scrap yard either.

So my ride is now un-registered and sitting forlornly in my parking space. If anybody has been through this with the Swiss road authority (Strassenverkehrsamt) and has advice, I'd love to hear it. If you have a spare left footrest, and live somewhere in Europe, please let me know.
