Almost there

Post by Rookhill » Sun Jul 25, 2010 9:13 am

Hello, Stripped and cleaned carbs with carb cleaner, great stuff they were full of gunk.. Set pilot jets to 2.5 turns out and put every thing back.
It runs great, tick over spot-on and throttle response is clean right up to red line, BUT this only happens if the choke is out ONE click. Idle screw has no positve effect, nor adjusting throttle cable.
I know I cant be far off. Please advise. Many thanks.

Hello, I'm pretty sure every thing is clean and clear and its not wear as the bike has only done 3027 miles and is 100% standard. Will try setting pilot a 3 turns out and keep you posted . Thanks Hayd.
