Speedo cable guide

Post by Wombat » Wed Jun 01, 2011 11:29 am

Just got my bike back from the smash repairers. The cable guide (rubber grommet), does it go on the fairing or the mudguard?
I think the mechanic's put it on the wrong place?

I had the same problem on a respray 4yrs ago ..he kept the bung from the guard and placed the one from the fairing into the guard. wasn't until a few mths later when i went to put it all together I noticed something wrong..cheeky bugger tried to keep the rear yamaha sticker from the dovetail above the tail light also

Same as Big Al TC said - cable guide is on the fairing - blanking plug on the guard.
I've had two TRXs - same on both of them.
