Wing mirrors
I need some new wing mirrors as Rex tried got too close to the wall and ended up with a crack in the left casing. Now it will not hold position and needs replacing.
I have been down to the local yamaha dealer and they can only do after-market stuff and the best match is a suzuki set.
I am not that fussy but the Suzuki ones were average and there were not many options. I have also searched eBay and not found much,
Can someone point out where I can find some online? Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Thanks for the correction and the advice.
Finding many British sites with yamaha bits for sale. Nt a lot of TRX gear for sale over in Oz. Lots of r1 and r6 stuff and their off road gear but not much Rex.
Will check out thunder cat.
Cheers.

Re: Wing mirrors
Another tip is to look for SZR 660 mirrors. Might be even more hard to find though, but they fit and will display what's behind you and not only your elbows

Re: Wing mirrors
SV650 /1000 mirrors look better that original TRX items and you can see behind you - usually an advantage

Re: Wing mirrors
Hi!
(* I had to drill the screws out of the SV mirrors ... obviously they were glued in and the allen key screw head was soft as cheese.)
Looking back greetings from Munich!
And don't worry about the wrong hole center distance: Simply* exchange the foot - the mirror itself fits with an extra washer.SDN wrote:SV650 /1000 mirrors look better that original TRX items and you can see behind you - usually an advantage

Re: Wing mirrors
Thanks for the advice.
Ended up going to a wreckers and getting a Suzuki set with narrow feet. Transferred the feet and I can now see past my elbows.
Appreciate the help
