Levers

Post by Wombat » Wed Feb 08, 2012 9:26 am

Was getting sick of my shorty CRG clutch lever. Even with my stubby fingers and the adjustability it was still a bit of a reach.
This afternoon it was raining, so I dragged it into the garage, undid the allen head bolt holding on tha l/h bar and switched it over to the old original "long" lever.
Much smoother operation and more leverage, and was able to reconnect the clutch safety switch. Yay. Good end to a very shitty day.

You swapped the clutch perch back?

That reminds me, I must reinstall my clutch safety switch  It's only been, oh, a year or so...

Should have gone for the long levers in the first place. Maybe a set of ASV next?

i didn't have a problem with the LSLs, with both brake and clutch operating their respective switches as per the OEM levers.
in saying that, the LSLs were not cheap items.
you pays your money you gets what you gets.
cheers
