Exhausting

Post by Geoperson » Fri Mar 23, 2012 12:16 pm

Off to the Ring in a coupla weeks but worried about noise levels from my laser race cans ( self-made db killers not very effective - just like the shop bought items  ). Anyone in the Belgian Limburg ( or Holland/Germany/France border) region with something a bit quieter up for grabs at a reasonable price? Needn't be mint, just functional (standard will do!). Measured the downpipe diameter & came up with 36-38mm depending on where measured. Whats the official diameter? Hurry hurry hurry! :)
Bottom of the heap.

Don`t worry about downpipe diameters, you can always source adaptors to go up to 50mm / 2" nominal bore generic race cans  :

Then you can scour Ebay for a pair of generic 2" bore LEGAL race cans, 11 pages here at the moment:

How about brand new for 100 quid each, they`ll make the inlet diameter whatever size you need too:

They are 'noise nazis' at the Ring and if your bike / car isn't near stock levels they will kick you off.

But if you only want one loop, as long as you keep it down in the holding areas you should be fine with a mildly fruity pipe
