In the market for a TRX Help
Hi fellow TRX fans. I have been in love the the TRX since I first saw a prime example at my local dealer some 12 years ago and have put the notion of owning one in storage since then. I am now ready to realise my dream and am in the market to get one. I have been watching the web for A TRX for sale and there are a few up for offer. My question is what should I be wary of ? I have been dirt biking for the last 20 years so I am bike savy but would like some guidance from you guys . Any input would be appreciated.

Ask questions about, "how often do you change the oil and what procedure do you follow to do it"? *
He / she might think that a bit odd but believe me it`s VERY important because if TRX`s are `allowed` to run low on oil they`ll eat themselves!
Other than that all the usual things apply, check for loose chains, hooked sprocket teeth, worn below use brake pads, grooved discs, tyres, and a good general look over for signs of abuse like rounded cap head bolts, hex nuts, badly adjusted cables etc.
They are not the sort of machines with many inherrant problems but poor ownership highlights any they might have as is the case with most motorcycles.
A REALLY good one with loads of extras around 1800 quid, a resonable one around 1500 and a well `used` one for a grand.
