Length the same?

G'day Dave, yes it will. I have the sp model and it's an exact fit. Much better shock IMHO. Does'nt have the "C" spanner adjuster tho, goes with the threaded type.

Kev, Wasn't the SP fitted with an Ohlins?

It was badged Ohlins (Yamaha owns Ohlins) but it wasn't the same (read as good) as the aftermarket Ohlins - it was still better than the standard shock though
